Great news on the economic front from Statistics Canada - retail sales are up and the number of people collecting employment insurance is down.

Cards beat Melville 6-1

The Yorkton Cardinals of the South East Senior Baseball League took advantage of more good baseball weather Monday night and used it to take it to the Melville Bison. Going into the contest the Cardinals were sitting at 4-5 in the SESBL standings.

Police search for missing teen

The Yorkton Municipal RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating 14-year-old Darnell Brass, who was last seen in Yorkton on June 15 at the movies. Brass is a First Nations male, approximately four feet tall and 75 pounds.
