Surrounded by his loving family, Fred passed away peacefully on Sunday June 3, 2012 in the ICU unit of the Regina General Hospital at the age of 79.

The Yorkton Bulldogs dropped a game in Prince Albert on Sunday afternoon, falling 20-5 to the Predators. They return home this weekend. The South East Senior Baseball League had three games played over the weekend.
