The Government of Saskatchewan has accepted the recommendations of the 2011 Provincial Court Commission regarding salary increases and benefits for Provincial Court judges.

The Saskatchewan Volleyball Association hosted its first set of age-group tournament for the 2012 indoor season this past weekend with game dates in both Yorkton and Saskatoon. These tournaments kicked off the season which runs from January to May.

Corporal Chris Lohnes is a dog handler with the RCMP based out of the Yorkton rural detachment. In addition to working with partner Musqua on cases throughout the region, he is also helping develop younger dogs and prospective handlers for the force.
