Sacred Heart and Yorkton Regional were both involved in conference play over the weekend. Both have qualified for regional competition. Sacred Heart will move on to North Battleford for their competition. The Regional goes to Saskatoon this weekend.

McCoy back with new disc

A Canadian country music veteran is back on the road in support of a brand new disk. Jason McCoy has just released Everything and hits the Painted Hand Casino for a show March 18. McCoy, from Barrie, Ont.

Terriers

The Yorkton Terriers will play in the Sherwood Conference final with the Kindersley Klippers starting Friday night in Yorkton. Game two will be here on Saturday. Both games are at 7:30 p.m. Dates in Kindersley haven't been determined.

Housing starts up

In February of 2011 urban housing starts were up 115 per cent (seasonally unadjusted) when compared to February last year according to a report released by CMHC today. There were 234 starts in February 2010 and 503 in February 2011.
