Another firearm discharge has taken place in North Battleford. Battlefords RCMP report that on Oct. 22, at 2:20 a.m., members responded to a complaint of a firearm being discharged.

On Oct. 19, 2019, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Meadow Lake RCMP responded to the report of a firearm being discharged once at a residence on the 600 block of Sergent Avenue in Meadow Lake.

A release from City Hall says the landfill site has re-opened after a fire shut the site down this morning. At approximately 8 a.m. on Oct. 21 a minor fire at North Battleford’s waste management facility landfill was detected.
