Emergency crews in North Battleford responded to a fire Thursday night. According to the North Battleford Fire Department they were called to the scene on the 300 block of 114th street a few minutes after 9pm.

BVC Fusion and Edam Prairie Storm win medals at provincials
The Battleford Volleyball Club Fusion and the Edam Prairie Storm both medaled at the Conexus Provincial Championship last weekend in Saskatoon and Warman. The BVC Fusion won the Tier 3 gold medal game in the 15U women's tournament.

The 24th annual Svoboda Dance Festival held in the Dekker Center over the last weekend was surely a delight to attend. We attended Saturday morning and afternoon only, but the performances were outstanding. The ages were from four to 18 years.
