The Wilkie Outlaws continued their undefeated march through the rest of the NSRHL last week. Wilkie earned an 8-3 win over the Tigers in Turtleford Friday night. Rick Cey led the way for the Outlaws with a goal and three assists.

The Battlefords Barons Atom A developmental team hosted and won the first annual Wade Belak Memorial Tournament last weekend. The tournament also featured Meadow Lake, Flin Flon and Wilkie and two teams from Saskatoon.

Kevin Bossert was elected as the new representative for Division 4 in the Rural Municipality of Manitou Lake, No. 442 by-election, held Nov. 27. Bossert had a total of 18 votes while his opponent, Rick Swanstrom, had nine votes.

Brent Salzl scored with less than four minutes to go in the third period to give the Battlefords Beaver Blues a 4-3 win in their home opener at the Battleford Arena against the Perdue Pirates Saturday night.

The lights are up. The shopping is done. Everything is wrapped and baked. There is no stress leading up to this Christmas.
