LeBLANC: Mr. Joe LeBlanc of Calgary, Alberta and formerly of the Battlefords passed away on April 17, 2013 at the age of 79 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2013 @ 2:00 p.m.

TADY: John 'Jack' Walter Tady - November 14, 1928-September 17, 2013. Family and friends gathered to celebrate Jack's life on September 21.

North Battleford RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in the investigation of a theft reported from a business in the city of North Battleford in the early evening of Sept. 20.

There have been a couple of incidents this past weekend at Moosomin First Nation north of the city. One was a major grass fire on the reserve Saturday evening.
