There was a lockdown reported at Island Lake First Nation School last week. According to Loon Lake RCMP the incident happened Friday afternoon around 2 p.m.

The North Battleford man wanted for a violent armed robbery in Lloydminster has been apprehended. Chase Hamilton was arrested Tuesday morning, Oct. 8 in North Battleford, says the Battlefords RCMP.
