North Battleford can add one more item to the list of new things in the community: a crematorium.

Firefighters helped three people escape from a burning multi-family housing unit Saturday at about 5:30 p.m. The fire was contained to one lower level unit of the building located on the 1000 block of 111th .

The last volleyball tournament before regionals, which took place last weekend at John Paul II, left North Battleford Comprehensive High School in a very good mood.
