Dear Editor My mother-in-law was admitted to Battlefords Union Hospital in distress with a Crohn's attack. As might be the case many other nights, her own doctor, who has had her as a patient for over 40 years, was not the doctor on call.

STOMP - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Garry Lorne Stomp, late of North Battleford, Saskatchewan on September 9, 2012 at the age of 64 years. Garry was born on August 28, 1948 at Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

Dear Editor I too hate the state of the downtown core. I am depressed by the multitude of for sale signs, the homelessness and the disrepair. But I tire of the discussion about who is to blame.
