The regular activities for the Maidstone Drop In Centre have started for the fall season with 500 cards being played on Labour Day. High score went to Jean Stewart and low to Eva Inkster. There was a good turnout for bingo Sept.

The Battlefords Midget Stars earned their first pre-season win in Saskatoon, thanks in large part to the goaltending duo. The Stars faced the Blazers Friday and Ryan Rewerts and Rylan Toth split time in the net for the Stars.

Museum season ends with corn roast

A busy season at the Maidstone museum finished with the annual corn roast on Labour Day. The added attraction that day was an antique car show.
