The Legion Ladies Auxiliary No. 142 met for the first meeting after summer break Sept. 4. It was a quiet summer with not much activity. The group had to turn down some activities because of lack of help.

Twenty North Battleford drivers have been fined over two days for exceeding the new 30 km/h speed cap in the city's school zones. Battlefords RCMP say they focused on enforcement of the zones Monday and Tuesday this week.
