The Battlefords AAA Sharks played two exhibition games on the weekend against Lloydminster. Despite losing 7-1 and 4-1 there is definitely a positive vibe around the team enter the 2012-13 season.

North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services sent personnel out on several calls over the weekend, but the incidents were all minor. At 6 p.m. Sunday, three firefighters responded to a call at 1101 - 99th St.
