Conventions are all about looking good on TV

These past several days I have been wasting my time watching live gavel-to-gavel coverage of the American political conventions, both online and on TV. I use the words "waste of time" deliberately, because that's what it has been.

Art Dagenais arrested

The father of the man serving a life sentence for the murder two RCMP officers is in some legal trouble of his own. Art Dagenais, father of convicted killer Curt Dagenais, was arrested and taken into custody last week.
