Dear Editor, Good morning, North Battleford: At this time of year, we have our children returning to school. We also have drivers who are oblivious to this.

The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce is preparing for two major speakers' events this fall, in September and October.

For the past three years, to celebrate Archives Week in February, the City of North Battleford Historic Archives has had a display at the Co-op and Frontier malls.

Ed, my neighbour next door, is feeling frustrated. He cannot control the weather and must wait to get going again at his harvest after recent rains. Ed is sure that once you are retired like me, life is frustration free.

Maidstone RCMP are requesting the public's assistance. Sometime between 8 p.m. Sept. 7 and 10 a.m. Sept. 9, unknown suspects stole 300 feet of welding cables and an eight inch bevelling machine out of a work truck in Maidstone.

Another in a lengthy list of recent building plans has come to North Battleford city council, this time for an industrial shop and office in the southeast industrial area.
