I'm writing to thank a man who took at least an hour out of his day to help two young girls who had a car accident May 8 on Highway 4, somewhere near Glaslyn.

Airport to get provincial funding

North Battleford's Cameron McIntosh Airport is in line for provincial funding to improve its tarmac. Last week the provincial government announced $37,500 for major crack repairs at the airport.

It was a nice night for ball Wednesday, as the Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League was in full swing with three games at the Flats in Battleford and one played in Unity.
