Badminton season wraps up at Humboldt schools

The shuttlecocks and racquets have been packed up as another year of badminton comes to an end at schools in Humboldt.Shaun Gardiner and his wife Karla have been coaching badminton at Humboldt Collegiate for three years.

Pedestrian struck and killed

A 78-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning in Humboldt. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Highway 5 and 9th Street at approximately 9:45 a.m.
