The PARTY program (Preventing Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma for Youth) gave a second information session on May 31, this time for 108 Grade 9 and 10 students from Humboldt Collegiate Institute and Muenster School.

She is inspired by her hometown. Noelle Nikas is designing a line of promotion items for Humboldt that will be sold at Brick House Clothing in the city. Nikas grew up in Humboldt.

The Horizon Central Athletic Association held District Track and Field Championships on May 22 and May 29. Districts were scheduled for May 22 in Saskatoon but were rained out. Events continued on May 29 in Humboldt.

The Marysburg Royals took on the Saskatoon Stallions in a doubleheader on June 3. They knew it was going to be a tough day as the Stallions are always tough, but they came ready to play.

It's official: there's a AAA Junior baseball team in town! The Humboldt Dodgers AAA Midget baseball team that won the provincials in 2011 is staying together, but they've moved into the junior league.

It was a great weekend for high school track and field athletes. Provincial Track and Field Championships were held in Saskatoon June 1-2. Fourteen Horizon Central Athletic Association athletes won 17 individual medals - including five gold medals.
