HUMBOLDT — A search warrant at a 300 block residence on Humboldt’s 10th Street turned up methamphetamine, cocaine, cash and other evidence of drug trafficking. Humboldt RCMP executed the search warrant the afternoon of Oct. 15.

TISDALE — The #624 Tisdale Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron has resumed in-person training, with strict COVID-19 precautions.

HUMBOLDT — While councillor Owen Hopfner has enjoyed his time as a member of Humboldt's city council, he has decided to step away and not run in the upcoming 2020 election.

HUMBOLDT — While he’s not running for mayor again, Rob Muench will still have his name on the ballot. In the Monday, Nov. 9 election, Muench will be running again for one of six councillor seats.

HUMBOLDT — Following the last municipal election, Harley Bentley said he could feel the support he got from the residents of Humboldt.

HUMBOLDT — Running for council has always been something that Roger Korte has wanted to do, he said. Now is the time, with Korte running in the upcoming municipal election along with 14 other council hopefuls.

HUMBOLDT — While some people agonize over their decision to run for city council, for Kelly Herperger it was an obvious choice.

MIDDLE LAKE — Humboldt RCMP are asking for the public's help in connection to a complaint that stated a 43-year-old man was assaulted in Middle Lake and sustained serious injuries. Police received the complaint on Aug. 28, 2020.

It was a debate where some questions were answered, and some weren’t, but overall, both New Democratic Leader Ryan Meili and Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe were able to get their points across in was a civil debate with little crosstalk.

NIPAWIN — A person or persons infected with COVID-19 visited three Nipawin businesses while they were likely infectious. The businesses include: Kingfisher Inn, 1203 Eighth Street West, on Oct. 9 from 8 p.m.
