Seven new cases have been detected by provincial health authorities in the Nipawin area on Oct. 14, making for a total of eight active cases.

TISDALE — Over a two week period, the Tisdale RCMP responded to four separate attempted vehicle thefts in town. “We’re seeing a little bit of an increase in attempted vehicle thefts,” said Cpl. Mike Benjamin, with the Tisdale RCMP.

MELFORT — With the closing of the nomination deadline, members of the Melfort community have the choice of six councillors and their mayor.

WADENA — The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning the public of potential exposure to COVID-19 at a Wadena business. On Oct. 7, an infectious person visited the Co-op Gas Bar at 73 Main Street North from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
