MELFORT — The Melfort RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect connected to a fraud and possession of stolen property. The male was captured by surveillance video using a stolen bank card in Melfort on Sept.

PUNNICHY — A Punnichy RCMP member who responded to a break-and-enter and theft call ended up having two youths point rifles directly at him. On Sept. 18 at approximately 7:00 p.m., RCMP received a report of the crime.

HUMBOLDT — The Westminster United Church will host a variety of artists and genres at their annual September concert.

HUMBOLDT — Council has moved the date where it will discuss a proposal to add a crematorium to the Malinoski and Danyluik Funeral Home. Instead of the Sept. 23 regular meeting, council will discuss the proposal on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 5:30 p.m.

WATROUS — An entire community opened its arms as nearly 1,000 student leaders came to town to attend a provincial convention.
