TISDALE — A power outage nearly denied former Tisdale Trojans goalie Roddy Ross of arguably one of the most memorable moments of his hockey career.

LEROY — Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP are asking for the public's help after two men walking on the 100 block of LeRoy's First Avenue were robbed at gunpoint. The two pedestrians were approached by a black Ford F350 truck during the evening of June 28.

EAST CENTRAL — Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the area around Melfort, Tisdale and Nipawin. The watch was put into effect on June 29 at 10:43 am.

WARTOUS, MANITOU BEACH, MEACHAM — The 12th Annual Spirit of Manitou Studio Trail is set to feature 19 artists’ collections in Watrous, Manitou Beach, and Meacham this July.

TISDALE — Now living in Los Angeles, Kyle Marshall never forgot his upbringing in Tisdale, going as far as slipping Easter eggs about his hometown in his Emmy winning cartoon Loud House.

HUMBOLDT — Four separate businesses in the industrial part of Humboldt were broken into, with goods stolen. In the overnight hours of June 23 and 24, entry was forced into fenced compounds, as well as several storage units, on Fourth Avenue West.

EAST CENTRAL — Environmental Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the region around Humboldt.

EAST CENTRAL — Community Futures Sagehill provided more than $925,000 in 2018 to finance new business startups. “We've created and maintained 30 jobs,” said Susan Wehage, Sagehill’s acting chief executive officer.
