EAST CENTRAL — The North East School Division (NESD) will be looking at “tough decisions” unless the provincial budget is “surprisingly positive” next year.

TISDALE — A vehicle in Tisdale was broken into and had debit cards and money stolen. The theft occurred on June 11.

HUMBOLDT — Mike Herperger of Humboldt and Drew Dale of LeRoy were the champions of this year’s Father’s Day Tournament at the Humboldt Golf Club. The pair, who won the Charles and Edward Weninger Memorial Trophy, had a two-day total of 130 (–14).

EAST CENTRAL — A change in how extracurricular bus travel is booked will give the Horizon School Division a better understanding of how the service is used.

MELFORT — The City of Melfort is asking motorists to keep two road repair projects happening on June 19 in mind as they travel throughout the city. City crews will be pouring concrete curbs along the north side of Saskatchewan Drive.

MELFORT — A 24-year-old Beatty man is facing eight charges in connection to a high-speed chase with police on Highway 3 west of Melfort.
