NORTHEAST — The operators for the Tisdale, Melfort and Nipawin cannabis retail stores have been selected. Tisdale’s store will be operated by Rod C. Malberg, a Nipawin-area businessman. Melfort’s will be run by 1159711 B.C. Ltd.

TISDALE — A Tisdale-based business faced the heat on the set of the Dragon’s Den . Little Town Apparel, owned by Scott and Kristie Homstol, sells clothing with designs promoting hometown pride for small communities around the country.

Safe Communities opened the HCI parking lot up to bike riders on May 26, as they hosted their fifth annual bike rodeo and safety day. The day featured many activities for the kids including a bicycle safety check, helmet fitting, and obstacle course.

MELFORT — A Melfort family doctor is resigning his position at the end of June. Dr. Alexander Watts’ last day will be June 29.
