Recently we observed International Women’s Day. But my questions is why? Not why do we show appreciation for women.

I do not envy any politician around budget time. Everyone has an opinion on how government money should be spent, it does not matter whether it is a civic, provincial, or federal elected official.

It was far from their best but it was good enough as the Nipawin Hawks escaped Humboldt with a 3-1 win.

The Nipawin Hawks kicked off their Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League best of seven quarter-final series on a high note as they knocked off the Humboldt Broncos 4-1 on home ice.

The Melfort Mustangs saw their season come to an end after a 5-2 loss in Game 4 of their best of five Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Wild Card playoff series on home ice. The Mustangs lost the series March 14 three games to one.

A way has been found to protect potential Melfort homeowners from buying homes with problems without going through an onerous legal process.
