Herb Sutton, the director of education of the Light of Christ Catholic School Board is retiring at the end of this school year, and he was named this year's staff Lumen Christi award winner at the division's annual service recognition awards ceremony

Jodi Kissick of Marwyne, Alta. took grandma Dorothy Kissick out for Sunday night supper. Colleen Koski has been ill this week but is now on the mend. Hope it keeps getting better, Colleen.

Maymont hosted a spring trade show May 24 in the Maymont Memorial Hall. Thanks to everyone who were vendors and to everyone who came out to this event. All proceeds from table rent, door and lunch went to the Maymont Memorial Hall.

Bus driver retiring after 36 years behind the wheel

There were a few mistakes in the last news from the school. Jean Brehon has achieved 20 years of service with the Living Sky School division and Ben Stenerson received a 25-year service award. Also honoured that evening, was bus driver, George Casey.
