Best wishes to all mothers. Hope you all enjoyed your special day. It is not often that the leaves are not out on Mothers' Day. At present there are just catkins on the poplars and the pussy willows look lovely.

The students and staff hope everyone had a very nice Mother's Day weekend. At school, the elementary students were busy the week before Mother's Day, creating some beautiful gifts to present their mom on her special day.

Hi, folks. Hurrah! The sun is shining after so many cloudy days. Now I hope that means "April showers will bring May flowers." Have to wait and see, I guess. Many of our tenants spent Easter with their families.

A drive around the lake recently turned up some signs of spring even though it still stays so cool, freezing at nights yet. First signs were many swans along the south shore of Jackfish Lake where there was open water, followed by several pelicans.
