Students are busy practising for track and field. The high school students will attend their track meet in North Battleford May 28 and 29. The elementary students will go to Hafford June 13 for their track meet.

Mothers feted on their special day

I'm home from a two-week stay at my son's in Cold Lake, Alta. His wife's mother passed away and they were attending her funeral in Trenton, Ont. While there I had to shovel snow two times. It's not spring yet.

Sharing cards and fellowship

Cards were played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre May 12 with a better turnout than usual. Bev Stewart hosted, chose cribbage to be played and provided lunch. High score went to Denise Newton and low to Bev.
