For those who read in one of my earlier articles, in November 2011, about Karen Fertuck (Hultman) going to Edmonton to receive a liver transplant, here is an update sent in by Connie Gunness.

NBCHS play takes five awards provincially

New members welcomed

Bingo was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre May 2 with Margaret MacEachern and Joan Smith doing the calling. The loonie pot was won by seven people so was left to accumulate. Lunch was provided by Dorothy Schwartz.

Best wishes to Conrad and Danay Smart as they move from their home in Waseca to be closer to the homes of their parents near Prince Albert. Conrad and Danay have resided in the village of about four years.
