Dean Bauche, local artist, former director of the North Battleford galleries and curator of the Allen Sapp Gallery, received a singular honour recently - a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Benefit concert cancelled

The community benefit concert to be put on by Elaine Wagner-Neovard, her son Alerrick Wagner and Valerie Montgomery-Bull Thursday May 24 at the Battlefords Indian Métis Friendship Centre has been cancelled due to a lack of ticket sales.

Wedding dance enjoyed

Dorothy Kissick attended the wedding dance in Lloydminster for her grandson Quntin Blanchette. Quntin and Chantell were married in Mexico in April. Dale, Debbie, Scotty and Darlene visited their mom Theresa Kennedy.
