Centre spruced up for Valentine's Day

Kaiser was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Feb. 12. Tied for high score were Jean Stewart and Dorothy Schwartz. Low score went to Eva Inkster. Lunch was provided by Lil McMillan.

The Speers Library held a Valentine open house Feb. 13 with the theme being "Love Your Library." Adults and children were encouraged to hand make Valentines and the entries qualified for a draw.

We arrived safely Feb. 15 and the weather is great here - warm and sunny with temperatures in the high 20s. My son Bryan lives on an acreage, so there are lots of horses, dairies and sheep close by.
