The Saskatchewan Health Authority is alerting individuals of a possibility of COVID-19 transmission through two local businesses in Regina and is urging Saskatchewan residents to follow public health measures and personal safety precautions to preven

On Saturday, Aug. 1, just before 6 p.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report from La Ronge EMS advising of a drowning at the Bell’s Point Beach located on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. Upon arrival, officers located a 42-year-old male on the beach.

On Saturday, August 1, 2020, Shellbrook RCMP received the report of a two-vehicle collision between Highway 693 and White Star Road, north of the community of Holbein. EMS and Shellbrook Fire and Rescue also attended the scene.

New COVID-19 maps are being launched today to provide more detailed information on the location of cases across Saskatchewan. One map has 13 regions with comprehensive statistical information for COVID-19 activity in that region.

It all started on July 2 when Tristen Durocher started his 639-kilometre journey from La Ronge to Regina with friend, Christopher Merasty.

There are 17 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Aug. 3, bringing the total to 1,359 cases. The new cases are located in the North (4), Central (5), South (6) and Regina (2) regions.

There have been confirmed cases in Mankota. Please note that the individuals were actually sick two weeks ago and had very minor symptoms – they didn’t even know they were sick.

There are eight new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Aug. 2, bringing the total to 1,342 cases. The new cases are located in the North (1), Central (1), Saskatoon (2), South (3) and Regina (1) regions.
