All Western Canada routes cancelled

With school winding down for the 2017-2018 year, schools in both Quill Lake and Muenster were busy handing out awards to cap off their year. Quill Lake The Quill Lake Hornets put an end to their school year, with their awards ceremony on June 14.

TISDALE — Despite the best efforts of Mother Nature, the races went on at the Tisdale Motor Speedway. A short downpour just before the July 7 races were to start affected the condition of the track, but not enough to cancel the races.

WILKIE — A vehicle was stolen after a garage was broken into on the 400 block of 2nd Street West in Wilkie Friday morning. Police say a silver GMC Silverado, licence plate 633 BWZ, was stolen sometime between 1:30 and 7 a.m.

NIPAWIN — Started in 1928, the Nipawin Exhibition is having its 90th anniversary. The exhibition includes a petting zoo, games of chance and rides.
