This year’s General Proficiency Award winners have been announced and 21 students from Horizon School Division have been selected for their outstanding grades.

North Battleford RCMP responded to 43 calls for service between 6 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 and 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10. Those incidents included several calls in relation to alcohol offences in the downtown area of 101st Street.

The Battlefords Rural RCMP are seeking the public assistance in locating 12 year old, Larkin McCallum/Pooyak of Battlefords, Sask. Larkin is a resident of a temporary youth home in Battleford with a history of running away.

North Battleford Fire Department reports the RCMP is investigating the cause of a fire that caused extensive damage to a vehicle parked at the Civic Centre just after 5 p.m. Saturday. According the NBFD the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
