Redberry Lake Biosphere Reserve hosted a family winter program Dec. 1 and 8 at the Research and Education Centre located along the shores of Redberry Lake.

Redberry Wildlife Federation held its annual horn measuring at the Blaine Lake Memorial Hall Dec. 22. Boone and Crockett scorer for the Henry Kelsey Association, David Pezderic of Asquith was one of the certified scorers for the evening.

Primary health care and preservation of senior long term care infrastructure were discussed when the Prairie North Regional Health Authority held regular monthly board meetings Dec. 19 in North Battleford and Nov. 28 in Lloydminster.

North Battleford firefighters were kept busy Wednesday responding to vehicle accidents on slippery area highways. According to Deputy Fire Chief Brian Wilson, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The STARS emergency helicopter has been dispatched to tend to a single vehicle rollover that happened near Maymont Wednesday afternoon, but was subsequently cancelled.
