The Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame in Battleford received a pair of donations this past week. Tuesday, the hall hosted an open house in conjunction with the donations being delivered.

The Battlefords AAA Sharks (7-9-1-0) scored five power play goals in two games to sweep the Melville Fox FM Prairie Fire (3-12-0-3) 3-1, and 3-2 over the weekend.

The Battlefords Stars (17-7-0-0) picked up wins over the Tisdale Trojans (18-3-0-2) and Moose Jaw Generals (9-13-0-4) this week.

The Battlefords North Stars (17-9-6-0) had a win and an overtime loss over the weekend, but deserved two wins. Friday, the Yorkton Terriers (11-16-1-2) came to the Civic Centre, and walked away with two points after a 3-2 overtime win.

Meota Combines (3-2-0-0) captain Tyson Knight had three goals and two assists to lead his team to an 8-4 win over the Glaslyn North Stars (0-3-0-0) Saturday.

The Edam 3 Stars started off their week with a 9-5 loss to the Meadow Lake Stampeders Friday, but bounced back with a 5-4 win on Saturday. Results from the 3 Stars’ game against the Maidstone Jets Wednesday had not been posted at press time.

Jetta Derenoksi has received some recognition for her recent play. In eight November games, Derenoski scored four goals and registered three assists, helping the Sharks to four victories.

Logan Nachtegaele scored his first two career SJHL goals Wednesday to lead the Battlefords North Stars (16-9-5-0) to 3-2 victory over the league leading Kindersley Klippers (22-7-2-2).

The Battlefords North Stars (15-9-5-0) played well on Saturday, but couldn’t put an end to their losing streak as they dropped a 3-2 decision to the defending RBC Cup champion Yorkton Terriers (10-15-1-2).

The Meota Combines (2-2-0-0) and Battleford Beaver Blues (2-1-0-0) won all their games this past week, going a combined 3-0. The Beaver Blues played just one game, they travelled south to Perdue and picked up a 5-1 win over the Pirates (0-6-0-0).
