Over halfway through the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League season, the teams are falling into familiar ground. The Wilkie Brewers have rolled off five straight wins going into action Thursday.

It was an experience of a lifetime. Kerri Archibald, a teacher at Humboldt Collegiate Institute (HCI), had the opportunity to run the Women and Sport Conference at the University of Saskatchewan on June 8-10.

It's a new venture for the village of Muenster to have a team in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball AA Midget League. The Muenster Red Sox, made up of Grade 10, 11 and 12 boys, is being coached by Garret Korte.

It has been six seasons since Derek Keller wore a Battlefords North Stars uniform. Since then, he has played two seasons with the South Carolina Stingrays of the East Coast Hockey League and four years at St. Lawrence University.
