For Roman Clarke and Dylan MacDonald , their interest in 1950s rocker Buddy Holly began when they acted in a play at a community theatre. “We kind of came upon it when Dylan and I were in the Buddy Holly Story ,” Clarke said.

The Greenwater RCMP are asking for help in finding a 14-year-old girl. Nyesha Squirrel was reported missing Oct. 23. She was last seen at 9 a.m. near Rose Valley.

After years of renting, Laura Lofstrom will finally have a home she can call her own. “It’s mine. That’s the main part,” said the Nipawin resident. “At least when I’m paying, it’s going to the mortgage and it’s mine.
