Prairie North and East Central Co-ops vote to merge
The members of the Melfort-based Prairie North Co-op and the Kelvington-based East Central Co-op have voted for amalgamation. Out of 61 members of the East Central Co-op attending a special meeting Nov. 2, 67.2 per cent voted in favour of the merger.

Carrot River arena re-opens to celebrate $500,000 in arena upgrades

Evergreen food services contract terminated
Nipawin council has terminated the food services agreement with Spice Hospitality Inc. at the Evergreen Centre. The decision was made at a special closed meeting of council Oct. 27 and was effective Oct. 30. The restaurant is now closed.
