During the last regular meeting of council, which was called to order on Dec. 19, councillors discussed the building of a daycare in Carlyle. A party has shown interest in developing the facility but formal arrangements have yet to be made.

On Wednesday, Dec. 19, the Moose Mountain Jumpers held an open house performance to show off their skills developed over the fall session.
