Weyburn Police called to bar fight

Weyburn Police Services responded to a fight at a local bar on April 27, however, due to the large number of patrons, police were unable to identify who had been in the fight. A 26-year-old male was taken to hospital for stitches.

Senior Centre hosts garage sale

The Wheatland Senior Centre will be hosting a garage sale on Thursday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Friday, May 9 from 9 a.m. to noon. Beef on a bun for $7 will be served on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Sun Country Health Region is honouring Palliative Care Week May 4 to 10. The Region offers palliative care services to all those diagnosed with a life- limiting illness.
