Mailboxes have purpose once again. Postal workers were legislated back to work on June 26 with home delivery beginning on June 28. Post offices also reopened on June 28.

The town of Midale was put under a precautionary boil water advisory on June 28. Due to the turbidity in Midale's water treatment plant being too high, a chemical pump went down for a short time.
