Members of the Estevan Combined Traffic Services Section have remained busy, issuing tickets for speeding and other infractions in July. They handed out 60 tickets for speeding during the week of July 3 to 9.

The final four has been set in the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games baseball competition. Team Regina, Team Saskatoon, Team Prairie Central and Team South East will meet in the bronze medal and gold medal games at Cactus Park today.

Athletes from southeast Saskatchewan are competing in a variety of events on Day 2 of the 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games in Estevan. Team South East remains at three medals, as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

The first medals have been handed out and each of the teams competing at the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games is beginning to learn where they stand. Champions have been declared in 14 disciplines in Athletics.

Team South East has won its first two medals at the 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games in Estevan, and both came in athletics. Joelyn Welburn won silver in the female long jump event with a distance of 5.27 metres.

The 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games has taken over Estevan.

The body of the 12-year-old boy who was reported missing while swimming at the Boundary Dam beach site yesterday afternoon has been found. The RCMP have announced that the boy, who was from Estevan, was found deceased shortly after 10:30 a.m.
