Two students from the Estevan Comprehensive School (ECS) had terrific showings at the recent virtual Skills Canada national competition.

Three people have been charged in connection with the death of a man originally from Carnduff. The homicide, which occurred in Regina, was the sixth in the Queen City this year. The victim has been identified as 52-year-old Robert Henry Fuchs.

The Southeast A’s U15 AAA baseball team, which boasts players from throughout the region, remain perfect this season. The A’s won all four of their games on the weekend to improve their record to 6-0.

Estevan firefighters responded to a fire pit-related call on Sunday. The call for service came in at about 7:30 p.m. Firefighters were asked to provide a bonfire investigation in the south-central part of Estevan.

Members of the Estevan Police Service made an arrest for drug possession on the weekend. Officers received a call Saturday about a 35-year-old woman from Regina being abandoned in Estevan.
