Members of the Estevan Police Service charged a motorist for prohibited driving on Saturday. A traffic stop in central Estevan resulted in a 21-year-old man being charged with driving while prohibited.

Imagine being a shepherd watching sheep at night. Now imagine watching sheep for years and years of nights. That does not sound very interesting or overly exciting. Yet, one night, was unlike any other.

A traffic stop in central Estevan on Christmas Eve resulted in a 25-year-old Estevan man having his driver’s license suspended for 72 hrs. Besides, his vehicle was impounded for three days.

Four residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died. One new death in the age group 80-plus was reported in the North West zone. One new death in the age group 70-79 was reported in the North West zone.

Santa Claus came to Estevan on Christmas Eve, and he found a fun way to make his way around the city. Santa traded in his sleigh and reindeer for a motorcycle, to the delight of people in the community.

This can be a difficult time of year for some, and those feelings of loneliness and depression can grow during a pandemic.
