A prairie tour was very important to Niki Ashton, a federal leadership candidate for the New Democrat Party, for it gave her a chance to connect with the roots of Tommy Douglas in Weyburn, and her own prairie roots.

“While the Lights were Out” many nefarious acts took place, but the butler didn’t do it.

There were 23 artists who competed in the annual art adjudication, hosted by the Weyburn Arts Council at the Signal Hill Arts Centre.

Crocus 80 will be shaking things up this summer, as they present “Shake It Up in the Park” this summer. Shake It Up will be the first time Crocus 80 has presented a Shakespearian play in River Park in Weyburn.

Rockglen dinner theatre filled the Rockglen high school with fine dining and laughter on April 1. The Rockglen community council board organized the dinner and the Rockglen community theatre presented the play “Nana’s Naughty Knickers”.

For the past 11 years the Wawota Acting Company has hosted an evening of entertainment to fundraise in support of World Vision. This year they held their production on Sunday, April 23, and they were able to raise $2,073 for World Vision.
