Residents of Carlyle and surrounding communities gathered Friday May 19 to raise money to start building Saskatchewan's new Children's Hospital.

Carlyle Elementary School participated in Saskatchewan's 10th annual Bicycle Safety Week, May 13 to 19, by holding their Bicycle Rodeo. May 15 saw students bringing their bikes in for a maintenance check and practicing the rules of the road.

District track meet will be held on May 23 at WCS to choose a team to go to SHSAA provincial track meet On June 1st and 2nd. Graduation will take place on Wednesday, May 30th. The ceremonies are open to the public and will begin at 10:00 a.m.
