Weyburn Review

The Midale Student Leadership Council raised over $22,000 during their Relay for Life. The Relay for Life was held at the Midale Central School on June 18. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Walter Jaster was born in Lang, on May 5, 1933. He moved to Weyburn in January 1953 and began working at the Souris Valley Hospital.

Rose Ann Reitze passed away suddenly June 16, 2016 at the Weyburn General Hospital. She is predeceased by her husband Frank Reitze in 1997. Rose was born October 16, 1938 in Inchkeith, SK.

Harry Schiller, late of Weyburn, passed to ride God’s range on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the age of 80 years.

St. Michael School presented their year-end awards to students on Thursday night. Several Grade 9 students received prestigious awards, after completing their last year at the St. Michael School.

Riding her horse through the drive-through at Tim Horton’s was an item on Katelyn Stromgren’s bucket list, as was sleeping the night with her horse and a tent in a Wal-Mart parking lot.
