By Greg Nikkel The City of Weyburn approved of a new connection fee for supplying water to commercial or industrial properties in the RM of Weyburn, setting it at $25,000 for flows of up to one imperial gallon per minute.

The members of the Weyburn Rotary Club played host to a delegation of five couples from New Zealand for several days last week, as part of the Rotary Friendship Exchange Program.

Canada will be turning 149 years old on Friday, July 1, and fireworks will burst with communities celebrating this great occasion with parades, barbecues, live concerts and various activities.
